The Sunflower School

Founded in 1999, The Sunflower School is dedicated to meeting the needs of educators, parents and organizations for practical information that will aide in the delivery of high quality learning environments for young children.

Who We Are

Kathleen Seabolt is an Early Childhood Educator with twenty years experience directing, teaching and learning in public schools and private, licensed childcare centers.  She earned a BA in Child Development, Communications and Social Policy from Mills College.  Ms Seabolt has designed award winning programs for 21^st Century Community Learning Centers. She is a certified PITC trainer for WestEd, a State of California Mentor Director, and has served on the Technical and Professional Advisory Board for the County of San Diego First 5 Commission. 

David O'Keefe has been married to Kathleen Seabolt for 15 years, they parent Allegra, Thomas and Margaret.
